Twenty-three year old Jasper Jones fell in love with Dean McQueen at fourteen, but after a disastrous relationship, Jazz would like nothing better than to see the rock star choke on his own vomit.

After a catastrophic reunion, Dean seems bent on destroying Jazz’s life. It all started when an impromptu bar performance ended up on YouTube and Jazz became an internet sensation overnight. The name “Jazdean” keeps popping up in headlines and the paparazzi stalk his every move. To make matters worse, Jazz is about to end up on the streets for the second time in his life.

In a desperate attempt to keep his home, Jazz signs a deal with Dean’s band, Black Hurricane, to perform at a couple of concerts. It feels like one of Dean’s feeble attempts to get Jazz back, but painted into a corner like he is, Jazz has no choice.

    1. First of all, thanks for stopping by :) It's nice to hear from people who've read my books. I'm glad you liked them.

Yes, Jazz is next. There's been a delay due to real-life matters, but I'm well on my way with the manuscript. It should be out next year, hopefully along with a sequel to A Life Without You (novella length, probably).

  3. Just finished reading all three books and I thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. I may be a little bit partial toward Jazz and Dean's story because I love to read about musicians, but you have done an amazing job portraying a great group of friends. I can't wait to read more stories about them. :)

    1. Hi Crazydancer,

I'm happy to hear you like it :)

The one I'm working on now is the direct sequel to A Life Without You where Jesse goes to tell his mom he's gay. Adam goes with him for moral support. I'm having a lot of fun writing it. Unfortunately, I don't have a time frame for the release. If I set myself deadlines I lock up and the creativity stops :/ I can only say that the writing is going well :)

The one after that will be Cal-Al and Terry's story.

  5. Hi, I absolutely love this series and Eric's book is so far my favourite. I can't wait to read Cal-Al's story I find his character so intriguing and was wondering how long I will have to wait for his book or any other book in this series?

    1. Thank you :)

At the moment, I'm working on other projects, so I'm not sure when I'll write the rest of the series (although I have started several projects in the series). There are some publishing kinks I have to iron out before I can go further.

  6. Hi Erica. I remember meeting you at GRL and being excited becaues I had just bought your book book A Life Without You and found out that Eric was had a book, you had fans with his cover!! (still have mine lol). I am shamed faced to say it sat in my nook, partly becaues I am a college student working full time and taking care of my handicapped mother. And partly because I have a book buying addiction so I have TONS of books to read. Well I saw the blurb for Black Hurricane and then read the excerpt. It sounded SOOOO good I knew I had to read it next. I blame you (LOL) that I have had NO sleep for the last day and a half!! I read the first two books in ONE day! I just finished reading Black Hurricane now. I had to come look to see if there would be anymore in the series becuase I just love these guys!!! I am so beyond excited to see that there will be more than one more!! I can't wait for Cal-Al and Terry!!!

Also wanted to say I am so excited to see you are going to GRL this year as a feautre author. Can't wait to see you again. Thanks for a great series!!!! And an extra thanks for the epilogues at the end! I personally would love an epilogue at the end of every book I read! :-)

    1. I'm so glad you liked them, thanks for coming over to tell me ^.^

A college student working fully time and taking care of your handicapped mother? Wow, and I thought I had my hands full with my twins, hehe. I have a deep respect for you.

I've had people ask me about when the next book will be out and I keep saying that it might take a while because of technical reasons. But every time someone asks me, Cal-Al and Terry gang up on me and say "See??" For what it's worth, I have scenes written out and I know exactly how the story's going to play out, so it's not like it's completely dormant. Maybe I'll get going on it once I finish the one I'm writing now, or continue Adam and Jesse's sequel, but I don't want to make any promises. I do hate keep people waiting though >.<

As far as bulging Kindles with unread titles, I have one as well. It's been glaring at me for the past year because I haven't done much to lighten the load.

  7. I've been interested in reading Boston Boys for some time now but still cannot find them anywhere! Both Amazon & MLR Press come up empty and I don't hold out much hope if your page isn't updated. Are they available anywhere?
