It's hop time! About time, too. Feels like it's been forever since the last one. I'm keeping this short, because I know you have other places to visit, so I'm doing this in bulletin points after my little Heartbreaker info.
Heartbreakers. I wouldn't go near them in real life, but I do like to read about them in books and see them on TV. The problem with these people in real life is that they usually know how good they look and are too focused on it, which means they're often conceited and I don't care for such individuals. Nothing wrong with being pretty and knowing it, but to use it to toy with other people's feelings isn't very nice ;)

Please, oh please write the post-apocalyptic story next! I would love a good m/m post-apocalyptic tale. *daydreams*
ReplyDeleteObviously, that's the one I voted for, lol. I would love to enter both contests. Both of your books look like good reads, but I've read an excerpt from A Life Without You and really enjoyed it.

Glad you're on the hop. authorangelicadawson at gmail.com as far as what to write next, it should be what inspires you, the story that won't let you sleep at night without thinking about it. That's the one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hop.I have these books.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the contest, Erica! I would love the chance to read A Life Without You. And I voted for the post-apoc one, because who doesn't love romance at the end of the world? (As long as it's not happening to me that is...)

I agree with you about heartbreakers--they just seem too full of themselves for my taste. I voted for BLACK HURRICANE, though it was a tough choice. A LIFE WITHOUT YOU would be fantastic if I win...

Thanks for the giveaway and participating in the hop!
ReplyDeleteI think that Christian Grey from "50 Shades of Grey" is a good example of a heartbreaker. He used and abused Ana at first, but then came to his senses by book two.

For me the heartbreaker is a bad boy who goes kicking and screaming into love! When he falls he falls hard!
ReplyDeleteThe only heartbreakers I have encountered are literary! And my all time fav is Mr Darcy! Although, I am currently crushing on Zadist from the Black Dagger Brotherhood!

My favorite heartbreaker is the one that your heart can’t live without. One of my best is Lucas from D B Reynolds book “Lucas” (Vampire in America series). Strong mind, well put together and tender when he needs to be.

My favorite part of having a heart breaker is the world class groveling. Todd in Lauren Dane's Laid Bare is my perfect example.
